Arts & Humanities

Majors and minors in art await you at Manchester, where you’ll find opportunities to stretch your mind and canvas in MU studios and abroad. Two Bachelor of Arts degrees in art combine foundational studio art, art history and advanced areas for specialization. You may try painting, ceramics, photography, textiles, weaving, glass, graphic design … with internships, gallery shows, study abroad and advanced studio options.

Involvement in the visual arts at Manchester University is supported by faculty who care about helping students develop their talents fully and to use art as a successful medium of communication and expression.
